MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
At St Leonard's children's mental health and well-being is at the heart of everything we do. We ensure we meet the needs of the whole child enabling every child to reach their full potential. We have a whole-school approach to mental health and well-being. We recognise that at times children face emotional challenges that can make them vulnerable and needing additional support. We have dedicated staff members to support the children and use The HOPE Project (Helping Our Pupil's Emotions) to work with our children and give them the emotional support and strategies they may need. All staff use Emotion Coaching to support children's well-being and to navigate and understand their own feelings and those of others.
