Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to the Autumn Term at St Leonard’s on behalf of myself and all of the staff.

We have enjoyed a very positive start to the new school year. There is much to look forward to over the coming term and I am excited to share it with you all.

Please see updates below ahead of the school year:

Entrance/exit:

Thanks to fencing work over the summer children can now all access school in a morning via the left-hand gate. We hope this will make for a smoother start and end to the day, especially when siblings are in different key stages.

Communication:

We understand that good communication between home and school is vitally important and that at times families need to contact school with questions or concerns. To help us ensure this takes place in the most effective manner, we kindly ask that all email communication be directed to the school office, rather than emailing individual members of staff directly. This can be done using office@st-leonards-stafford.staffs.sch.uk

We also encourage you to continue using Class Dojo to share positive news stories, such as achievements outside of school, directly with your child’s class teacher. This is a lovely way to celebrate success together and strengthen our home-school connection.

Vision, Values and Golden Rules:

We are excited to be launching our re-vamped school vision and values this week. We will also be introducing three golden rules which will be for pupils across the school. Keep your eyes peeled for this weeks’ Leonard’s Life.
