Booking a place at Leo’s Den

Bookings can be made for Leo’s Den in different ways. However, all bookings must be made using Kids Club HQ. 

Contracts for monthly bookings can be set up for rolling bookings. 

Ad hoc sessions can be booked where requirements for days and sessions are less predictable. 

Last minute bookings can be made with less than 24-hours notice subject to availability. These bookings must be arranged directly with the school office, who will then create the booking on Kids Club HQ. Bookings made with less than 24-hours notice are not guaranteed and are subject to an additional session charge of £2.00 per child. 

Changes to any booking is subject to 4-weeks' notice.   

Clubs run by external groups on school grounds are booked according to their own booking policies and procedures.  

Fees for Leo’s Den

Fees are required to be paid in advance of sessions. Payment will be issued at point of booking with Kids Club HQ. We accept payments by ParentPay, childcare vouchers, BACS or tax-free childcare accounts.  

Places may be terminated if bookings are not being paid for. This is at the discretion of the school leadership team. 

Refunds will not be given for sessions booked and missed. The only occasion refunds will be given is if the provision is not available e.g. following a school closure due to inclement weather conditions or the school requests a child take part in an extra-curricular event such as a sporting tournament.  

Collection of Children

Children may only be collected by those persons you have given authorisation to and have your chosen password. Please notify the school office before 3.30pm if someone else will be collecting your child. If your child is not collected within their booked session time, then an additional charge per child will be made, £5 if after 5.30pm and £20 if after 6pm. If parents are consistently late, we may terminate your place. If a child is not collected at the end of the session, we will follow our ‘Non-collection Policy’, a copy of which can be found on the school website. 

Behaviour

Verbal or physical abuse from children or adults, aimed at Staff members or other children will not be tolerated. St. Leonard’s Primary School’s Behaviour Policy will be followed in the first instance. Parents will be spoken to if there were to be a behavioural issue, however, as Leo’s Den is an optional provision and if there was consistently poor behaviour from a child, we would reserve the right to inform parents that their child could no longer attend. 

Medicine

Staff will administer medicines, providing parents have completed a medication form. Parents are requested to inform staff of any known allergies. This will be done in line with our ‘Administering Medicines Policy’.
